Tests fail after a fresh install
Section titled “Tests fail after a fresh install”File DBs in /tmp/startplate-*.db persist between runs with the old schema. Clear first — always:
rm -f /tmp/startplate-*.db && npm testbetter-auth import errors
Section titled “better-auth import errors”The version is pinned exact for a reason (broken publishes upstream). Don’t loosen it without a green suite.
Webhook returns 401
Section titled “Webhook returns 401”Signatures are verified over exact raw bytes. Causes in order: wrong *_WEBHOOK_SECRET, parsed-then-reserialized body (read raw text), missing provider headers. Never grant access on verification error.
Fulfillment threw “Unknown product”
Section titled “Fulfillment threw “Unknown product””The charging product ID isn’t in DODO_PRODUCTS_JSON. Add the mapping — the throw is the protection working.
